LOLLIPOP is one of the rescued equines that lives at our farm. This little pony was found by some people while trail riding. He had been tied to a tree in the middle of nowhere and left to die. What did he ever do to deserve that? What sort of a person would do such a thing? He was rescued and brought back to good health. That was in 1998 and he will remain with us for the rest of his days. Yes, he is aged and no longer 'useful.' Yes, he is blind and requires special handling to insure his safety. Yes, due to loss of teeth he requires special, more expensive feed. Yes, he is the sweetest, most gentle soul we have ever met.

FOZZY is a Thoroughbred mare, 30+ years old, 16 hands, dark bay with big blaze. Foz came to the Rescue when her family expereinced health problems and could no longer keep her. She is a good girl that gets along well with others but can be frisky. She is currently receiving an herbal glucosamine for chronic arthritis.

PETIE is a 20 year old paint pony gelding with chronic laminitis. His kind and gentle nature makes him invaluable with new arrivals. He is able to calm them and easily befriends all. His Eeyore personality makes him a favorite with the kids as well.

Here are Before and After photos of BARNEY, a 35+ year-old pony. He was removed from his owner for neglect by Law Enforcement. Upon his arrival we did not think he would survive. He seemed to have lost his 'will.' We introduced him to some friends and he recovered beautifully. Emotionally he is cured. However, he has some health issues and is a 'special needs' pony. He will stay with us for life. It took almost a year to rehabilitate him and we worry that he wouldn't survive another move.

Dutchess is a 44 year old Quarter Horse. Age has taken her eyes but not her sense of humor. We swear she laughs everytime she steps on your foot. She has adjusted quite well to her new surroundings and new friends. If your lucky you can see her and Lolli scratching each other.

Damey is ancient as they come. What we do know is that he loves being part of the crew. He makes sure that we never forget when feeding time is with his quiet calls that he is waiting. Damey is just a wonderful pony that has some digestive issues. At his age, he has found his quiet place to hang out and enjoy the sunshine.
