In Loving Memory...
(Con't)
Bucky the beauty queen was our first criminal conviction. She loved to be groomed by the kids and fed lots of carrots. Her soul was kind and gentle. She was humanly euthanized when her time came. She will always remain in our hearts.
KING was surrendered by his owners when they were leaving the area and could not take him with them. He was adopted by a wonderful family with a large dairy farm for their young son to ride and care for. He has become the family's favorite due to his kind and gentle nature

CINNAMON aka MUSTANG - has gone on to greener pastures to be with his friends. He arrived at the Rescue on Thanksgiving 2003 and lived out the rest of his life in loving hands. He was a favorite to brush when he wanted to. We will miss his loving soul and remember his loving eyes always. Trust never came easy for him but he finally realized that he was out of harms way.

SLIM was a handsome horse that pulled everyone to him like a magnet. He loved to be groomed and bathed, especially by the littlest visitors. He made everyone feel safe and did his best not to misbehave. At first his height of 16.3 h was intimidating but Slim oozed confidence through his pores as he would gaze into your eyes lovingly. You couldn't help but to give him a treat everytime you passed. He lived three happy filled years at the Rescue and we are all better for having him in our lives. Thank-you Slim for being special to all that visted the farm. Your loving spirit will always be with us.
SWEETIE PIE was found in a ditch by the side of the road emaciated. At one point in her life she has had her withers broken as well as her one knee. She did not trust humans, but had managed to make a special friend in her paddock, Brock. She is finally at peace with Brock- galloping through the fields together.
BROCK called the rescue home. He had been in a trailering accident and broke his hind leg. He managed to get around great and spend his life being best friends with Lolli and Sweetie Pie. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
