MISSION & HISTORY.
Equine Rescue, Inc. offers a Hudson Valley sanctuary to horses that cannot be placed elsewhere and it does not euthanize for space.
While Equine Rescue, Inc. is limited in the number of horses they can help, the ones they do help are promised a home for life.
All horses are adopted, not sold, to individuals that are vetted very comprehensively.
Equine Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to rescue and provide care, rehabilitation and adoption services for abused, neglected, and abandoned horses.
Equine Rescue, Inc. specializes in critical care cases. Quality of life concerns bring certain horses to our attention because they are not being medically treated even though treatment options are available.
Equine Rescue, Inc. works closely with all local and State Law Enforcement Agencies providing stabling and rehabilitation services to equines that are confiscated for cruelty and/or neglect. The organization also works closely with the DA's office to build cases and aid in prosecuting such cases.
